In reality Mick is actually over 80, but he looks 30 as that was when he was bitten on his wedding night by Coraline. He is constantly in denial of what he is, believing he is a monster. So, he goes about his life as a private investigator trying to help people. He cares for Beth more then she could know, and now with Beth's boyfriend out the way who knows what could happen. He is desperate to find a cure for vampireism, and was at first glad Coraline shared the cure with him. Now, however, its worn off and he has no way of getting more. Mick refuses to turn anyway, like he was sired, as he doesn't want to inflict this on anyone else.

In reality Josef is over 500 years old, so as you can imagine he has seen a lot. Maybe its the extra years he's had compared to Mick which means it's easier for him to accept what he is - a vampire. He and Mick are fairly good friends, introduced to each over by Coraline. Deep down he has a caring and sensitive side, well capable of love, after all the woman he loved who he tried to turn as she requested ended up in an unconscious like state and yet he still returns to care for her. He still doesn't try to end it.

Again, around 29 when she was turned, but a lot older. Coraline is the ex wife which made Mick what he is now. He tried to kill her one night, but she escaped the fire to play mind games on Mick. She has a temporary cure for vampireism, from her blood line and family. After sharing the cure with Mick, the cure got into the wrong hands...and now it's being used as a weapon. Coraline is desperate to find Mick and tell him about it. She could be the start of many vampire deaths.

She is really 75 years old and has been trapped in a coma ever since Josef turned her.

Kira is quite simply put, the bad blood of the family if you will. She was sired alright, and she never went rogue or had the chance, however, she broke away eventually from her sire. She had been sired by her adopted family, so when she broke away from the sire she broke away from anyone who loved or cared for her. She never resented what they had made her - she loved the power too much. Once she found out her own weakness, she used it against her own kind to stop them interfering. She wants to be alone. Supreme. The only vampire left. Powerful. So, because of this, she is deadly and evil. She kills humans without thought.

Although Beth remembers little of her childhood, she does often have a dream of what happens. She remembers that Mick rescued her from Coraline at a young age. Ever since then she's felt safe with Mick, and she also is developing certain feelings for him. She is inquisitive and intelligent, and works as a reporter for BuzzWire. She is still grieving and getting over the death of Josh who was going to propose to her, and at the minute she is trying to stop putting the blame for Josh's death on the fact Mick refused to turn Josh.

Demetri is with the armed forces. Smart, respected, with sharp wit and humour, he is rarely in one place for a long time. He is constantly on the move, thus relationships are hard to keep. However, deep down this is what he longs for. Someone to settle with, someone he can be with without fear of them getting hurt in any cross fires or getting hurt if he himself dies. So Demetri is known to be a ladies man at times. He is strong both mentally and physically, and appealing to most girls, though at times his idea of "smooth" and "subtle" isn't always there, for he is naturally clumsy.

Kayla is rather shy herself sometimes, but once you get to know her she is the strong and loyal female who helps most out. If she's your friend, then she's always supportive and there for you. A true friend. She has a casual humour, the type you can get used to, and is very easy going. She likes Darren a lot, and the crush he has on her is mutual on her part, yet if Darren doesn't make his move perhaps she will get the wrong message and stop hanging around - move on. She can't wait for him forever. Kayla as of yet has no idea what Darren is, so sometimes his behavior is quite startling.

Devon is a defense lawyer, and a big shot at that. He has a way of twisting words against people, and more often then not gets his clients out of trouble. He is loaded with cash, drives in flash cars, and has a way with the ladies. Why settle down when you can have so much fun being single? He has the cash to flash at least. His family are equally as well off, living in a grand mansion and such, so the wealth runs in the family. Devon has powerful friends and contacts, yet he is still blissfully unaware and ignorant to the knowledge of any vampires and such out there. Perhaps eventually he will find out – but lets hope not the hard way.

Quite simply put, the ladies favorite “bad boy” of the area. Flint is the mysterious stranger who walks into a bar, with a smirk that could kill millions. He has smooth ways, and is a charmer. Very similar to Mia in personality, he is obviously more skilled then his protégé. He is patient with Mia teaching her all his tricks. Tristan takes medication for a “rage” problem however, and without this he would most likely be the scariest hunter you’d ever find. God help him if someone got rid of the medication. He’s rather embarrassed about it, so tells nobody. Tristan likes the theories “ask no questions, be told no lies” and “shoot first, ask questions later".

Mia is a humorous, sensitive character. She is witty, sarcastic, cheery, optimistic, a tease, a torment, snarky, and can come across as cocky or egotistic. She uses her looks to her advantage, and enjoys wild one night stands. She kills with little emotion on hunts, though sometimes the hate she feels for herself, who she is, and her past tears her up inside and more often then that causes sleeping problems and deprivation. Tristan Flint was the one who introduced her to hunting, the one solid male in her life. She tells herself they are hunting partners, nothing more, but the odd passionate night of wild sex the two have shared often and the constant flirts and teases seem to be maybe leading to something much more to Mia’s fear. Yes, she is afraid of commitment…so if Tristan does turn out to be more then a hunting partner and sex buddy chances are she’ll flee rather then admit real feeling.

Jason Lee. The younger identical twin by a minute or so. Both twins were raised to hunt together, as only certain families are aware of vampires. Jason Lee is the “brawl” more then the brains. After having his hair dyed black so he is more unique, and can be told apart from his twin easier, Jason started to fly through any weapons training. Hand to hand combat came brutally easy and instinctive to him – and if Jason needs answers from a certain person who is unwilling to talk? Let’s just say he has his ways of making them tell him everything. Jason is currently approaching his 24th birthday, and the older he gets the more his talents grow. Jason’s loyalties are to family, and if you're on his good side he’s a great guy.

The older twin. Jonathan is still rogue, but he is more calmer, experienced, and intelligent then Jason. He is calculated to deadly extents, and is much more lethal then his brother who is simply “an attack dog without a leash”. Jonathan doesn’t like to lose a hunt. He has met with Mick in the past, and hates the fact he never managed to kill Mick. He is eager to finish the job, and will not listen to reason like his brother Jason. These are pure hunters, killing even the good vamps and not just rogue’s. Jonathan is also one of the few hunters aware of jumpers and other un-normal beings. He hunts these too – though is not as skilled in this area as he is with vampires.

Darren was always described by some to be "strange", for even though he gives the impression of being normal, at times near the full moon he will mysteriously vanish. He constantly seems weary when the full moon finally dies for a day or so after. Darren may not be a werewolf, but he is from the rare species of Loup Garoux. A species which is on the brink of extinction as it stands. Darren is fighting for his identity, his place in the world, his friends, and what he believes in. He fears getting too close to people, for they may find out what he is. Darren knows Kayla from school, and has always had a secret crush on her. The two are good friends.

Catalina, or should I say "Kat" or "Katie" as she is more commonly known by, literally has the devil in her. With a dangerous gleam in her eyes, she is fliratious, lethal, deadly charming, a wild cat, unpredictable, and if your a guy guaranteed to literally blow your mind. I would lie however if I were to say her bark is worse then her bite. Like Darren she is part of a limited and dying breed, alone in the world, wounded. Deep down she hates that she can never let herself get too close, and more often then not makes a vow to forget feelings. If she kills someone at full moon, so be it. Catalina is a Lycan, or werewolf if you will.

"Every word you say to me cuts me to the bone". This lyric is a perfect surmise of Adam's personality. He is a very shy individual, to the extent he keeps in the background and more often then not his words are soft spoken but holding a welcoming warmth that seems soothing. Every insult he takes to heart, and because of his childhood Adam is constantly suffering. Will anyone get past his nervous barriors he puts up? To become a Jumper like everyone Adam had a traumatic experience. His father beat him constantly (Adam went to casualty on numerous occasions)...to the point where once he nearly died in severe trauma. His life down spiraled ever since, and he seems to be cursed with bad luck.
