If Kayla knew for sure anything in life... if all the heart ache and hurt had taught her anything it was to never give up. As the saying goes to get back up on the horse and try again. At the time she thought she was being an idiot, that no one would be crazy enough to do what she was doing. In the end the, it had all worked out... sort of. She wondered how many other casualties there were. How many other people would get hurt or be unhappy by this news? How could she be so happy about the future when it was destroying other people's lives? Then he was removing her arms from around him and she should have known that was going to happen.

"Drew?" she implored... already figuring he'd say no from after what he just said but thought she'd ask anyway. Just one last time to be selfish before she'd let go and have fate take the reigns. "Will you... just... sit with me for a bit?" She was waiting for the no, for him to walk away and not be back in her life ever again and in the best case scenario not for a very long time. "Just... I know you need time but... I just... i don't know when I'll see you again."
