This rpg might be based around Moonlight, but there are a lot of different elements both original and from the books of "Jumper" to make it more interesting. For those who haven't seen moonlight, or haven't read the jumper books - no worries, just consult all the information and pay strict attention to the species list. It is advisable that you consult admins on any queries. At any rate, the main plot is below.
"The past has a habit of coming back to stake you in the heart. They say "whats dead should stay dead" but being a vamp, guess I'm the exception. Another exception is Coraline, or Morgan as she now calls herself. Josef says she isn't a vampire, and maybe he's right, but I know Coraline. She vanished again not long back. I have no idea where to, but I intend to find her. I remember the fire sometimes, can still feel the heat of the flames. Coraline took my humanity from me, made me who I am. A monster. No denying it. I just wish I could be human again."
Mick was just an ordinary guy, and he would have stayed that way probably had he not met Coraline. Fatal attraction is one way of putting it. The two became closer, and on their wedding night Coraline turned Mick into a vampire. Mick resented it, he had become a monster, but Coraline tried and fought hard to make him accept it. However, Coraline took things too far. At one point she brought Beth to Mick - Beth who was an innocent four year old girl. Coraline wanted to turn Beth, so they had a family. Mick and Coraline ended up fighting, which ended with Mick fleeing the house with Beth in his arms, while fire consumed the building. Coraline was thought to be dead, as after all fire kills vampires.
Mick made a living for the good after that, becoming a private investigator and keeping an eye on Beth throughout her life. His friend Josef, also a vampire introduced to him by Coraline, kept close to him. Then, Coraline came back, pretending to be a woman called Morgan working with Beth as a photographer in reports. Coraline was eventually revealed, and Mick found out she was human. She had a temporary cure to vampireism. Coraline shared it with Mick, and that was when it got into the wrong hands by accident. The hunters who tried to kill vampires, now had a cure which could be turned into a potential weapon. They mixed something else to the cure, which meant when injected into vampire's would kill them. Hunters didn't want a temporary cure. They figured - once a vampire, always a vampire. Hunters wanted a way to kill vampires.
Although beings such as Werewolves and Jumpers live in peace from the majority of hunters, they are soon about to be dragged willing or unwilling into a new fight breeching the blood red horizon. The hunters have caused destruction...the weapon is out of hand, and now a disease is starting to spread which causes anyone un-human in anyway, or gifted like jumpers, to fall seriously ill. It has to be stopped, are you up for the challenge? Hunters are also taking in those who are different to experiment, try to understand these strange outcasts. Vampire's can no longer live in secret. Unless they want to remain a lab rat, they must fight back. Humans and those that are different must take sides, and if reason doesn't work...then the fight will be a long one.
